That day, my life has changed forever. There will be no more impromptu calls. There will be no more visitation. There will be no more...you...
I believed this was the best thing for you. Looks like Allah SWT love you more than I did...more than we did.
I totally LOVE this drama.
Okay...they sure have some flaws here and there. But that doesn't stop me to cheering, bawling, cringing, laughing all the way with them. It have enough mysteries and interesting plot that make me keep tune in. In the beginning, I was a little skeptical about split-personalities plot. I watch it because of Ji-sung and Hwang Jung-eum reunion after Secret in the first place. And then.....they keep pulling me along the way *thank God for that*.
I even have my own poll corner on the personalities. Just for fun tho...

Dang!! I missed all the museums on my last trip to Singapore early this year. Can't blame tho...we have such tight schedule that leave us nothing but happy memories and swollen feet.
So....I am really happy to find out that my office's next vacation will be in *drum roll* SINGAPORE!!
It happen that I also missed Universal Studios Singapore, not enough time because we arrived (evening) and leave (afternoon) at such unlucky hour. But looks like I will going to USS after all, its included in a-must-do itinerary when you visit SG. Especially when your visiting with your colleague kekeke....
USS aside, the museums are also fun places to explored. There are some notable museums in Singapore and had a good reputation also. Can't wait!!

Wohooo....Wednesday almost end and Thursday is right in the horizon. There's nothing make us *the government little minions* happier than a day off. Yay!! No office tomorrow!! It would've been perfect if Friday poses as red colored date too *dreamy*. But no...we still have those morning meeting that day *sigh*.
My friends already take a step further to celebrate this long (?) weekend. They either take a day leave or half-day leave for Friday *jealous*.
Our office clock now pointing at 5 pm, rather 'regular' time for me to go home. I am desperately want to start the holiday vibe as early as possible, seems like a moot thing to do now since its heavy rain downpours outside. Yay...another Bogor regular rains...which reminds me of this photo my friend shared before.

There's this 'common logic' applied here..."if Bogor having a massive rain, you bet Jakarta will be attack by water". Bogor always take the blame as the source of Jakarta's own flood. Lets face it...Bogor has a good record with rain, they didn't named it Rain City for nothing. As nature speak, water will likely run from higher places to lower one before ended in the sea. Don't blame us if Jakarta didn't have decent sewer systems -___-"
Anyway.............why did I ramble on rain when the important one is HOLIDAY!! Lets take a vacation people!!

Oh dear...the Singapore trip...is it only last week? Quite an adventure I must say.

Last week I had a 'flashpack' trip to the Lion City. Its a flash-not-backpack trip I've done with my friends. The three of us (me, Dyah and Ttin) went to Singapore in different schedule, me and Titin went for 2 days instead of 3 days like Dyah's.

This post tittle was refer to how long are our flashpack trip. Technically, you can say it more than 24 hours...but just make it simple...lets just called it that way lol.

This was the first abroad trip for both Titin and Dyah, so it definitely a exiting experience for them.

p.s. Seems like I didn't hit the "publish" button before lol. We did this travel at January 17-18th, early this year.
오랜만이다
Its been a while since I wrote a post in this blog. Never find the right mood to write some. I have this 'spare' time or to be exact is time to kill today.
Today is Tuesday...and I am DYING to wait for Thursday to come. Technically, Kill Me Heal Me (KMHM) drama aired in Wednesday night, but I have to wait at least Thursday to have it online.
I LOVE Korean drama since my college days and keep burning up till today. In the old days, we have to watch the subbed version in local television to filled our thirst for drama. Otherwise, we could buy CD and DVD's to get fastest and broader option of drama. No such things as streamline videos back then.
Many drama worth mentioning as my favorites such as Autumn in My Heart (yes...this one ALWAYS make me cried buckets), Stairway to Heaven, Secret Garden, Full House, Greatest Love, Gaksital (yay!!) and many more. My kind of genre are limitless, I could use a box of tissue while marathon-ing drama or pumped my fist on Vampire Prosecutor's fight scenes.
My recent drama was KHMM, so far...it really have potential to be one of my favorite drama. Ji-sung portrayed a man with split personalities. He has 7 (yes...seven) personalities. But no worries...he's far from Voldemort-like. I found all his personalities very engaging in certain way. Its interesting how this drama's plot works for each episodes. Love Ji-sung and Hwang Jung-eum, they are great actors. Their chemistry are not joke (they also sizzle in Secret tho).
I always end up screaming or squeeing at every Thursday episodes. I wish I have this kind of devotion to my own Theses lol. FIGHTING!!

It was held at IICC Bogor and attended by more than 20 regional representatives, IPB Professors and others.
One of the main highlight of the event was presentation session by two presidential candidates. Each of them were given time to explain their view on agriculture, to be spesific Agriculture Revolution on Agricultural Development. Sadly, both of candidates didn't show up and replaced by their representatives.
One of main reason I attended the event was to take notes on both candidates view on required topic. First session was given to Mr. Aunur Rofiq, representatives for Candidate number 1. He covered most of things we expected to know about the candidates view and programs on agriculture. Lot of question arised, and Mr. Rofiq can answer them wisely.
A different method was found on another session. Candidates number 2 represented by Mr. Anies Baswedan. We, audiences, didn't find anything from him about required topic, agriculture revolution on agricultural development. Mr. Baswedan explained by personal approach, not mention any significant things about agriculture. To be frank, it really upsetting how the candidates number 2 didn't appreciate the host by not mention any vission or program on agriculture. Come on!! You were invited by HA IPB...at least send someone who understand the topic.

They have so many reputated restaurant, include our hotel's restaurant.

It's not that easy for us actually. We have to find 'halal food'. There were several listed halal restaurant provided by HK's tourism board, but it not that easy to find it and also regarding our itinerary. Even at hotel breakfast time, we have to choose the food carefully.

We find some of Indian and Middle East restaurant labeled halal. For Indonesian people who would travel to HK, those restaurant can be picked. But you have to mind the portion, it was a BIG one - you can share one serving for two person.

After Ngong Ping Village and saw the Big Buddha, journey continued. The next destination was Disneyland Hongkong, one of two of Disneyland franchise in Asia. We take another MTR trip, there was a special line for Disneyland. It start on Sunny Bay Station and the MTR train only travel to and from Disneyland.

It's Chinnese's New Year week when we got there so there were significant visitor at that time. Still, not as crowded as Ruins of St. Paul (other stories).

Disneyland were not as vast as Ocean Park but it still can make your feet trembling hehe. Disneyland had a great charm especially for kids. However, personally I didn't feel that charm. The only things that impressed me was the parade, it was entertaining. We tried some of the rides, but the only thing that stick in our mind was they had a very loooong queue.

Overall, I would prefer Ocean Park than Disneyland if I given the chance to re-visit Hongkong.

For those who aware...its one of RM itinerary. So what if I plan the trip based on my bias...sue me :)
After dropped our baggage at hotel, we continue the trip for day one. We need to go to Prince Edward MTR St, its only 5 min walk from hotel. We still need to change line at Lai King in order to reach Thung Chung (last station for orange line).
Only a moment walk from Thung Chung station, we've reached the Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car. You can choose how to reach Ngong Ping Village by any transportation mode. We choose to use the cable car, it took shorter time and the scenery along were magnificent. It took about 25 min to reach the village.
Ngong Ping Village's main attraction is The Giant Buddha. To reach the highest platform, we need to climb hundreds of stairs. This village was used as a background in various china movies.
I saw some people were praying, but most of other only visiting. Not like my experience in Thailand. Although most of Thai are Buddhist, but they also had lot of religious tourist. Maybe they prefer go to the temple at HK island.
We spent some time in this village, and then use the cable car to go back. We're heading to second place on our itinerary. And its DISNEYLAND ppl!! ^^

We arrived quite early at HK, about 6 am. First thing we do after finished the immigration stuff is to find place that sell airport express ticket and octopus card. Octopus card is a must have things when you travel to HK.
HK Int'l Airport is a large one, but thankfully it easy to understand by we foreigners. Actually, I little bit confused myself when search for the ticket booth. I think the airport express and octopus card we're sold at different place, eventually it's not like that. We could easily buy the AE and OC at the same place...and it really easy to spot on.
We took the AE to Kowloon Station, it only take about 20 min or less to reach the station. From Kowloon Station, we took shuttle bus to our hotel (free of charge ppl!!). The traffic were very light, maybe because that was still morning. It took about 18 min to reach our hotel. Because we arrive too early, we couldn't check in (to rooms) at that time being. So, we just leave our baggages at concierge.

And then....the journey begin....

11th May 2013.

Sawadee ka...

I often intend to write down about my trip with Hilda before. Finally, this time has arrived :)
That was my first abroad trip. And we're heading to Bangkok!! It was only two of us, on our very first abroad trip...me and Hilda. Especially for Hilda, that were also her very first time on plane.

We've planned this trip from early of 2013. Because we didn't use any
travel tour, we planned everything alone before or an the spot.
Everything...start from the plane and all the itinerary. The joy of this
kind of travel is they are flexible....we could easily change our mind
about our plan :)

Our plane landed at Don Mueang Int'l Airport of Bangkok in the morning. We have to take taxi to Bangkok downtown, about half an hour ride from airport. The thing about Bangkok's taxi is...they will charged you too much if you don't make yourself clear about the destination. For that trip from airport to downtown Bangkok, we have to pay 400 THB, those exclude 40 THB for airport taxi fees in advance. From what I've read before, it only cost about 250 - 350 THB from Don Mueang Airport.

Bangkok's taxi driver seems don't have a lot differences with Indonesian taxi driver. They were gladly take extra income from foreigner, by charged too much...or pretend to not know what are we're talking about. Well...we've learn those misfortune :)

From what I saw, city landscape of Bangkok didn't have a lot of differences with Jakarta. Things I could say is Bangkok has a better public transportation.

I'll share another story later ^^

On the other hand, there's four kids hanging leasurely in mango tree at the playground.
This playground so popular these days. One reason is because the air so hot on the house, so we like to sit under the trees in the playground. Lot of childrens like to play here these days, its school vacation. Elementary student in Indonesia currently having the national exam, for the senior....while the juniors are dismissed.

Just finished the drama less than a week ago. Only find this moment to share the joy i've got from watch this drama.

I really love to watch good korean drama. I put this drama under my GREAT drama categories.
First time hear about this drama is from javabeans, girlfriday and girls at DB. They reviewed it as one of the best k-drama in 2012. Gaksital was originally aired at KBS. But the main problem in Indonesia is: we updated our k drama episodes through internet. Local tv here rarely air updated k-drama...usually its aired waaaayyyy long after it broadcasted in Korea.

Back to Gaksital, when i watch first episode...truthfully...i don't read much about the storyline. All i know was Joo Won will potrait Gaksital or the Bridal Mask. First episode was intriguing and interesting as ever!! The show really good on making the first impression on the drama.

From the first episode to the final episode is one helluva journey!! DAEBAK!! Each episode is unravel a great story, amazing cast, and beautiful cinematography. And they ALWAYS cut the episode at the most tense moment that keep me figdeting and cant wait to continue to the next episode. I can imagine the tension between the aired episode in Korea.

Gaksital take set at early 1930 in Korea (or Joseon at that time). The storyline revolve around the people condition at that time, especially the movement againts Japan's occupation at Joseon. Joo Won is anti hero that turned to hero in the drama, lets just mention him as his character: Lee Kang-To.

What makes the drama great for me is the story and the characters is so rich...that makes you didn't even object about the long episode. I feel like...more is merrier!! When you watch the early episodes, you will HATE Kang-To...but surely end up LUUUUURRRRRVVVVVEEEE HIM!! Kang-To yaaaa!!

Other aspect that i love is its packed with great and amazing action scenes that shot beautifully awesome. The action scenes not the kind of 'arranged action', its really fits the drama reallu well. Will not forget the fashion parade...that should be mentioned here. I love the old fashion style, whether the suit and dress or the hairdo...they all awesome!!

To be fair, the minus thing about this drama is the characters naming. A person can have more than TWO or even MORE name in this drama. You have too keep up to remember all of their name :)

Love to watch and re-watch this drama!!!!

Kang-To ya!!!!!!!!!!
Salah satu kenalannya nelpon untuk diskusi suatu masalah. My mother currently work at one of Indonesian public company yg ngurusin masalah pensiunan.
Yah...begitulah nasib istri siri.
Eh...ternyata mbak-ku ikut comment juga. Kalau kata dia, gak gampang nikah resmi itu. Di kampungku, ongkos untuk nikah resmi aja more than 1 million.
